An extreme hands-on learning experience for innovative entrepreneurs. It’s free and it’s intense! There are numerous avenues a person can take to explore how to start a new business venture. The 3DS model is one that is recognized globally. Participants progress through a series of modules in a learning-by-doing environment that includes: creating ideas, team building, customer discovery, rapid prototyping, and pitch workshops. Meals, drinks and snacks are provided. GPRIN knows the importance and value of entrepreneurial development and wants the 3DS to be one of its key components to entrepreneurial development in the region along with Junior Achievement, Destination Imagination, school program offerings and GPRC’s entrepreneurship opportunities in research and innovation.
A focus on where the marketing process begins for new product development. It emphasizes product entry into the marketplace and sets the stage for selling the product to customers.
Developing marketing plans: an introduction to the key elements of a successful marketing plan and hands on exercises in applying the concepts to your business.
Discuss with a patent lawyer how to protect your ideas. Topics include patents, copyright and industrial design. Our facilitator is a Patent Lawyer coming in from Edmonton, learn more about him and his firm below:

Nathan Woodruff began working with Thompson & Associates’ predecessor firm Thompson Lambert LLP in November, 2002 during his final year of engineering.
